Since last year, mainland customs have repeatedly detected quarantine pests—Planococcus minor, fenthion and dimethoate residues in citrus fruits exported to the mainland from Taiwan. New coronavirus nucleic acid was detected on the packaging of frozen white-haired fish and frozen horse mackerel in mainland China. In order to prevent risks, according to the relevant laws, regulations and standards of the mainland, it is hereby decided to suspend the import of citrus fruits, chilled white hairfish and frozen horse mackerel from Taiwan to the mainland from August 3, 2022.
From August 3, 2022, the customs will suspend the acceptance of customs declarations for citrus fruits, chilled white hairtail, and frozen horse mackerel in Taiwan, and will promptly notify relevant enterprises within their jurisdictions of the above. (General Administration of Customs)
